ACHIEVE3000 IS A PROUD PARTNER IN

Day 29

Bringing in a Colleague

OVERVIEW

Join Dr. Fisher for Day 29, as he shares his own experience of peer observation and then guides you through the process, step-by-step.

Dr. Fisher encourages you to introduce the Productive Group Work rubric to a colleague and then have them observe your students using the rubric. This experience can provide you with valuable feedback to use as you plan the next steps in your collaborative conversations work with your students.

ASSIGNMENT

CLASSROOM TASK: BRING IN A COLLEAGUE

Have a conversation with a colleague to introduce them to the Productive Group Work rubric and review each of the indicators. Then, follow through with your plan and complete your observation session.

Reflect on this experience and how you will continue to grow in the collaborative conversations work you are doing with your students.
